We’re back in the States with stories, music, and more to share from our adventures in Reykjavík. From Icelandic musicians like Lucy in Blue to Cheddy Carter, the Covering Festivals: Iceland class of 2015 dove into the international music scene at Iceland Airwaves. The class of seven explored much more than the music, too. The students immersed themselves in Icelandic culture, including stories about architecture, the Syrian Refugee Crisis, Feminism, Paganism, Magical Staves, LGBT equality, domestic violence, and divorce rates. The documentary will explore the narratives of Mercedes Nixon-Palmer, Andriana Bozovic, Meg Caldwell, Laura Kondourajian, Shannon Elder, Benedict Jones, and myself.
