Coming soon is a story on Iceland’s LGBT rights association Samtökin ’78 making strides in LGBT issues, much like in the U.S. where marriage equality was legalized throughout the country on June 26, 2015. Marriage equality has been in Iceland since 2010, and recently they’ve added LGBT education to Reykjavík schools by a renewed contract that includes LGBT education in school municipalities.
Auður Magndis is the director of Samtökin ’78. Here’s a preview where she talked about the acceptance and revamping of this education contract.
